On the 4^th August, 2018, Center for Population Health Sciences (CPHS)  - Hanoi School of Public Health has successfully organized the seminar titled “Some useful application of Stata in data analysis and management”  at Room 207, Build A, Hanoi School of Public Health

 

Objectives of the seminar:  

Shared experience and discussion about some useful application of Stata software to make shorter working hours and for working improvement.

 

Contents:

1. Introduction of basic Stata packages for automatically processing in some steps of data analysis and management
2. Alternative solution for logistic regression in cross-sectional study with high prevalence rate.

Overview of the seminar:

54 participants attended the seminar: Hanoi Medical University, Hanoi School of Public Health, Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thang Long University, National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, National Institute of Nutrition, Institute of Occupational Health and Environment, Thang Long Institute of medical and pharmaceutical research, Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi Medical  University Hospital, Administration of science and training – Ministry of Health.

 

Participants have been actively participated in discussion session and gave constructive and useful comments regarding topic of useful Stata commands for searching and identifying missing value, result table development as required by international journals.

 

The seminar closed at 11:30 am on the same day.
