5th Year Anniversary International Symposium on Global Health “Evidence-Based Global Health”
On 21st December 2017, the 5th Year anniversary International Symposium on Global Health “Evidence-based Global Health” has been organized by JW LEE Center for Global Medicine – Seoul National University College of Medicine
This symposium included 23 sessions covering those topics: Non-communicable diseases, Communicable diseases, Maternal neonatal child health, Health profession development, Accountability and learning of M&E for international development effectiveness 1, Towards better emergency care in Cameroon, Vietnam health system strengthening cohort data based original research, Accountability and learning of M&E for international development effectiveness 2, Health system, Primary healthcare, Academia in global health, Health services, Global health security in developing countries: Challenges and solutions, Maternal neonatal child health, Underserved population, Lesson learnt from Korea, Next generation 1, Next generation 2
Keynote speakers coming from Japan, The U.S, England and Korea also attended the symposium
The Session 101 titled “Open Evidence Production by Sharing Cohort Data from the Health System Strengthening (HSS) Project in Vietnam” was took place in the morning. Assoc.Prof. Hoang Van Minh – Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Public Health presented “Methods for the 2016 baseline survey of a health system strengthening project in Quoc Oai district, Hanoi, Vietnam”.
Nguyen Bao Ngoc. B.A - Researcher of Center for Population Health Sciences presented “Health service utilization among people with non-communicable diseases in rural Vietnam” at the Session 205 of this symposium.
