From 11/10/2017 to 14/10/2017, Center for Population Health Sciences (CPHS) – Hanoi University of Public Health has conducted the data collection for the study “A formative research for mCessation (mobile phone based smoking cessation) in Viet Nam” at some colleges, universities in Dong Thap province (Dong Thap Medical College, Dong Thap Community College…) and in Thanh Binh district, Dong Thap province.
Objective:
This study aims to explore the feasibility, willingness to pay and ability to afford mCessation intervention as well as to adapt available mCessation models elsewhere to Vietnam context.
Specific objective:

Ha Noi city, Ha Nam province, Ho Chi Minh city, and Dong Thap province
Research methodology:
This is a mixed method study which combine a literature review, a qualitative study and a quantitative survey
