Surveys for the research “Impact of adjusting social health insurance premiums with the balance of revenues and expenditures of the health insurance fund”

 

Center for Population Health Science, Hanoi University of Public Health has conducted the research “Impact of adjusting social health insurance premiums with the balance of revenues and expenditures of the health insurance fund” from 02/2019 to 05/2019 in 6 cities/provinces of Vietnam.

 

Objectives:

Assessing the feasibility and the impact of adjusting social health insurance premiums with the balance of revenues and expenditures of the health insurance fund.

 

Locations:

The research is conducted in 6 cities/provinces in Viet Nam: Hanoi, Thai Binh, Lao Cai, Thanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Binh Duong.

 

Method:

Caculating and forecasting the balance of revenues and expenditures of the health insurance fund based on secondary data analysis and hypotheses.

Interviewing stakeholders.

 

Implementing Agency:

Center for Population and Health Science, Hanoi University of Public Health.

 

Co-implementing Agency:

Department of Health Insurance, Ministry of Health. Departments of Health and Provincial Social Security in Hanoi, Thai Binh, Lao Cai, Thanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Binh Duong.
