Data collector training for study "Health status and quality of life of people living in Chi Linh, Hai Duong in 2016 and related factors"

 

 

As part of the framework of the study "Health Status and Quality of Life of People Living in Chi Linh, Hai Duong in 2016 and Related Factors", training sessions for data collectors were held on June 2 - 3, 2016.

 

Staying abreast of the basic objectives, the questionnaire was designed to be more compact and integrated onto samsung 4 tablet with many advantages such as reducing input errors, accurate jumps and the data is entered according to logic reference rules. Data collectors gave very positive feedback about how this new system helps collecting data becomes easier, safer and more portable.

 

Training sessions for data collectors include three main parts:

  • Explore the questionnaire
  • Familiarize with the basic operations of the tablet
  • Data collecting skills

 

By the end of the sessions, all 17 data collectors has had a chance to practice collecting data using the tablet. Expected test data collection in the field will be carried out on June 4 - 5, 2016.
