In the framework of “Health system strengthening project", on 18th and 19th June, 2018, the Center for Population Health Sciences (CPHS), Hanoi University of Public Health organized a workshop “2018 Planning meeting” at Room 207, Building A, Hanoi University of Public Health.

 

Objectives: 

• To discuss activities of the Health System Strengthening project in 2018
• To review and discuss the Health System Strenthening’s publication progress

• Prof. Luu Ngoc Hoat – Former Vice Dean of Hanoi Medical University
• Assoc.Prof. Do Van Dung - Vice Rector of University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City

Key members of the project from: Hanoi University of Public Health (HUPH), Hanoi Medical University (HMU), University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City (UMP), Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital.

At the workshop, the participants discussed to develop the timeline for the next activities of the project. Be specific:

• Year 2018:
  • To conduct follow-up survey in Quoc Oai;
  • To conduct the Writing paper workshop on 19^th - 20^th August;
  • To conduct intervention studies in Phu Tho and Ho Chi Minh.

 

• Year 2019:
  • To conduct additional base line survey and follow – up survey in Thuan An;
  • To release special issue with data from Quoc Oai and Thuan An data, Intervention studies and other data;
  • To conduct the Policy Workshop

Additionally, researchers also reviewed  and discussed about the progress of Health System Strenthening’s publication.

The workshop has been successfully completed after two working days.
