Name of the workshop:

Immunization Costing Evidence into Policy and Practice 

 

Objectives:

The aim of the workshop is to bring together country and global experts in immunization, health systems, costing, and financing to interpret the results of the Immunization Costing Action Network (ICAN) costing studies and plan for communication and dissemination.

 

Specific objectives: 

  • Discuss the analysis and interpret the results of the country immunization delivery costing studies;
  • Develop draft “evidence into policy and practice” action plans to facilitate use of the results in country planning and budgeting, program management, and policymaking;
  • Discuss best practices in presentation and communication; and
  • Document lessons learned on the research and evidence to policy and practice activities for the development of a joint ICAN knowledge product.

 

Time:

3 days, from 24/04/ 2019 to 26/04/2019

Contents of the workshop: 

Vietnam, Indonesia and Tanzania research team presented study results in the framework of ICAN costing studies.  

 

Presentation, instructions, discussion, analysis about how to communicate, disseminate the study results, which will facilitate use of the results in country planning and budgeting, program management, and policymaking have been made during this workshop.

 

Vu Quynh Mai, MSc; Tran Tuan Anh, MSc – researchers of Center for Population Health Sciences (CPHS) – Hanoi University of Public Health have participated in this event and presented at the workshop. Vietnam team also included representatives from NIHE and Department of Preventive Medicine (Ministry of Health)

 

The workshop has been successfully assessed after three full working days.
