Risk factors of non-communicable diseases among people aged 18-69 in Chi Linh, Haiduong and Quoc Oai district, Hanoi

"Risk factors of non-communicable diseases" phase 2 

 

"Risk factors of non-communicable diseases" phase 2 is conducted in Chi Linh district, Haiduong province and Quoc Oai, Hanoi from June 2017 to December 2017 by Center for Population and Health Science, Hanoi University of Public Health. The phase 1 of this research has been conducted from Jun 2016 to December 2016 with the study population of approximate 27,000 individuals of roughly 8,500 households.

 

Objectives:

  • Determine the situation of obesity, overweight, hypertension and increasing total cholesteron of people aged 18-69 in Chi Linh district and Quoc Oai district.
  • Determine the rate of diabetes by fasting blood glucose test among people aged 18-69 in Chi Linh district and Quoc Oai district.
  • Merge to individual's information in baseline round to determine risk factors of above non-communicable diseases.


Duration:
June 2017 to December 2017

Research site:
07 communes/wards in Chi Linh district and 17 communes/town in Quoc Oai district.
 

Methodology:
This is a cross-sectional study
